Following its debut premiere last week, HU Founder Jason Lee is keeping the momentum for “The Jason Lee Show” going as rapper Blueface and Chrisean Rock joined him for his second episode on REVOLT.
It’s important to note that Lee’s conversation with the pair was filmed weeks prior to Rock’s pregnancy announcement on Friday, as they opened up on their whirlwind romance that’s captivated social media since last summer. In fact, their relationship has made so many headlines in recent months, some are even calling them the “new Bobby and Whitney.”
With no question being off limits, the internet’s most talked about couple sat down for an intimate interview, discussing everything from Rock’s brother being arrested on a murder charge to the 22-year-old expressing the ups and downs that have come with being Blueface’s girlfriend.
For instance, Rock and Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold, haven’t been on good terms since their infamous brawl back in May 2022, when Rock was alleged to have fought both Saffold and her daughter Kali Miller following a heated dispute that left several people bloodied and bruised.
And while Blueface has continued to stick by Rock’s side, his mom has frequently hopped onto social media, denouncing her son’s decision to remain with the “Baddies” reality star. When the scuffle was brought up in their interview with Lee, Rock interject, saying a fight only ensued because she had been “provoked” to get physical.
Despite their many break-ups in recent months, Blueface and Rock have always found themselves reconciling somewhere down the line. On Friday, for example, when Rock announced her pregnancy and later saw tweets from Blueface claiming that the baby wasn’t his; she vowed to raise the child on her own as the “Thotiana” hitmaker declared the pair were “officially done.”
But just hours later, Rock — as we previously reported — was alleged to have shown up at Blueface’s home while celebrating his 26th birthday, leading fans to believe the pair were already back together.
Things were said to have escalated shortly after when Rock was involved in a physical altercation with several women, and though she later sounded off on Twitter, saying she was trying to break up a fight, in the video obtained by TMZ, it very much looked as if Rock herself was caught up in the brawl herself.
Is Blueface Ready To Marry Chrisean Rock?
At this point, people have accepted that no matter how volatile their relationship gets, Blueface and Rock are going to stick together no matter what.
So, when Lee quizzed the pair on whether marriage is something on the horizon for the couple, Blueface responded, “I don’t believe in marriage, but I love her.” A startled-looking Rock, clearly unamused by her boyfriend’s answer, insisted, “He getting married with me, can you be quiet and just go along? If I give him $3 billion, he gonna marry me.”
Lee followed up, asking whether marriage really matters if there’s already a bond or an understanding between two people, and while Bueface expressed how it wouldn’t change anything in his relationship, calling it “a woman thing,” Rock begged to differ.
Blueface also touched on his arrest on attempted murder charges back in November after being accused of pulling a gun and shooting at a truck driver outside of a Las Vegas strip club the month prior.
While the CCTV footage, obtained by TMZ, showed the incident unfolding near the parking lot of the now-defunct establishment, it’s hard to make out whether Blueface was the man in question who allegedly fired multiple shots at the victim.
Sources close to the situation alleged that there was some sort of quarrel when the driver made a joke about Blueface picking up girls in a “cheap vehicle.” The comment was allegedly enough to erupt a brawl right outside the strip club before the driver then jumped into his car and seemingly tried to run over a member of the rapper’s entourage.
That’s when a man is seen pulling out a gun and firing it in the driver’s direction, with cops later discovering multiple bullet marks on the man’s track. The police report further claimed there he had suffered a “bullet graze wound” on his hand as an extensive investigation into the matter continued.
Blueface swiftly brushed off any questions pertaining to the case, telling Lee, “I only play defense.”
Chrisean Rock Opens Up About Her Brother’s Attempted Murder Charge
In December, Rock’s brother, 31-year-old Obadiah Malone, was arrested in Baltimore on a first-degree attempted murder charge in connection to a shooting that had also occurred in October. The victim reportedly suffered multiple gunshot wounds but fortunately survived the attack, with cops arresting Malone two months after obtaining a warrant for his arrest.
A day before his arrest, Malone had taken to Instagram, asserting that Blueface and his sister were “the brokest celebrities in Hollywood.” He added, “And the most lit right now. I’m mad at y’all that y’all not taking advantage of this lit s**t and getting some money with it.”
That same day, he continued to blast Rock after she made comments about how she supposedly takes care of her family financially — a remark which clearly didn’t sit well with Malone. “Bitch I take care of everybody. You don’t do shit,” he hit back. “You don’t got no emotions. You don’t do shit for nobody. When mommy wanted to come home, I paid for her flight home. I mad at you because you broke.”
Speaking of her brother declaring that she and Blueface were struggling for money, Rock told Lee, “He didn’t want to take accountability to run up a fade with my n**** […] He ran home to run his mouth about my n****.” She appeared to imply that Malone hadn’t seen eye-to-eye with Blueface, which subsequently led him to make the no-to-nice comments about them.
When Lee followed up on how she felt about her brother’s arrest on an attempted murder charge, the TV personality continued, “But that was his karma, bro, people get what they deserve […] S*** happens to you, then, God be in your favor to work it out. But if it’s not, you need to slow down.
“I, like, really f***** with him and then he just bit the hand that was feeding him, for real. It was weird because he was scared to take accountability. If he took a fade out with my n****, I don’t think there’d be none of that, right, daddy?”
