Amp, the live radio app from Amazon, announced today the launch of The Daily Drop, a new weekday show hosted by multimedia powerhouse Jason Lee, live on Amp every Monday through Friday beginning June 26, at 10 a.m. PDT / 1 p.m. EDT. The Daily Drop is the unfiltered and interactive destination for real-time scoops, celebrity gossip, and the latest happenings in the worlds of hip-hop and entertainment.
As the founder and personality behind Hollywood Unlocked, a popular entertainment media brand that’s become a mainstay for the hottest scoops in entertainment and pop culture discussion, Lee brings his insider access directly to Amp listeners every day. Fans can tune in to The Daily Drop to connect with Lee live — comment in the chat or request to call in — as he spills the latest news, invites his celebrity friends to the mic, and leads conversations about music, life, and what’s happening here and now in the culture.
