Jason Derulo recently and quickly shared his support for Diddy amid the ongoing legal issues surrounding the music mogul.
In a quick conversation in New York City, Jason was asked to share his thoughts on all the legal drama surrounding Diddy. While taking pics fans, Jason told TMZ’s reporter Seleah Simone that he agrees with the principle of innocent until proven guilty.
While Jason’s comments were brief, his decision to publicly support Diddy is significant, particularly in an industry where many have chosen to remain silent on the matter.

As many are aware, Diddy played a great role in his early career and entry into the music industry. Jason wrote songs for the Bad Boyz mogul and his associates/artists in the mid-to-late 2000s — that ultimately led to Jason’s successful solo career.

As we previously reported, the rap mogul has been accused of sexual assault and harassment, along with sex trafficking, rape and physical abuse in a series of lawsuits by a former romantic partner, a producer and others filed since November 2023. To note, the lawsuit brought by his former girlfriend, Casandra Ventura, was quickly settled.
“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura, said in a statement in November. “I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.” In a statement, Mr. Combs added: “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”
Although Diddy is still facing tons of allegations, maintaining his innocence throughout, Jason’s vocal backing offers a glimpse of solidarity in a time of uncertainty and scrutiny. As Diddy maintains a low profile in Miami, referring to the investigation as a witch hunt, Jason’s joins a short list of other celebs who are not jumping the gun before he battles out these cases in court.
