Jason Davis Cause Of Death: Authorities Suspect Heroin Overdose
As the investigation continues into the shocking death of Disney’s ‘Recess‘ star Jason Davis, authorities tell TMZ that they believe he may’ve overdosed on heroin.
Cops say they found an unresponsive Davis, 35, dead in his Los Angeles home’s bathroom around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday (Feb 16). Nearby, they saw items consistent with heroin or opioid use; including burnt tin foil and other paraphernalia.

While an official autopsy and toxicology analysis still needs conducting, authorities are treating his death as a possible overdose. Sadly, Davis previous battled addition, and in 2011, was even arrested and charged for alleged heroin possession.
Though the charges were eventually dropped, in lieu of a drug diversion program, he additionally appeared on ‘Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.’ and attempted to become sober.

Over time, Davis eventually became sober and went on to co-found his charity Cure Addiction Now, an organization created to assist in funding research for those suffering from substance abuse themselves.
He’s said have been heavily-involved with the inner workings of the nearly 2-year-old organization.
