Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies rushed to the wedding location quickly after Alexander unexpectedly showed up and approached security. He reportedly told them that Spears sent him an invite and that she was his “first and only wife” while live-streaming the entire ordeal as reported by TMZ. Moments later, his phone freezes but he eventually makes it into her home but he was restrained shortly after.
Alexander is famously known as the man who was married to Britney Spears for 55 hours after the former couple went to Las Vegas and wed at a local chapel in 2004. Spears later annulled the marriage after her family said they were against the spontaneous move. Prior to the marriage, the couple was childhood friends who grew up together in Louisiana.
“They told me if I would sign the contracts – the annulment – they would let me and Britney continue our relationship, and if we felt the same way in six months, they would give us a proper marriage. So I had no reason to believe otherwise,” he said during an interview on the Toxic: The Britney Spears podcast.

Jason Alexander has a previous arrest record for stalking and harassment
However, this is not the first time Alexander has had a run-in with the law. Earlier this year, he pleaded guilty to staking an unidentified woman in Tennessee and was given 11 months and 29 days probation for violating an order of protection and aggravating stalking. Alexander was also ordered to undergo random drug testing and a mental health screening. Within that time frame, he also posted a 25-minute Instagram live ranting about Spears and his case plus the coronavirus vaccine.
“What’s happened to me should never happen to anybody. I did nothing wrong but I got freaking treated like … and still! With news articles being printed about the situation. This is f***ing gnarly, dude.”
Last year, he was taken into custody at an airport in Nashville after attempting to skip the security line and enter an unauthorized area. He was charged with a misdemeanor but was later released. Alexander also showed his support for Spears during her conservatorship battle and joined fans outside of the courtroom where the trial took place. He claimed he and his ex-wife of two days communicated with each other during the courtroom saga.
Fans react to her ex-husband crashing the wedding and live streaming
The strange wedding crash caused fans to show concern for Spears as it seems she couldn’t have a peaceful moment on her wedding day. Also, Alexander was confused with comedian and actor Jason Alexander of ‘Seinfeld’ fame.
