Pregnant comedian and actress Jasmin Brown, aka Watch Jazzy, is sharing a “transparent” message while admitting that she’d be “so nervous to have a son” because she’d “subconsciously raise him to be a man [she] can only dream of, but never experienced.”
On Friday (August 22), Jasmin Brown took to her Instagram Story with a “transparency moment” about people wanting her to raise a son. She wrote, “If God gave me a son, I’d be so nervous. Because I feel like I’d subconsciously raise him to be a man I can only dream of, but never experienced. And that’s traumatic. [spiral eyed emoji].”
In a second post, she wrote, “Everyone keeps wishing a son on me. They keep saying, ‘There’s no love like the love from a son.’ And that gives me so much anxiety [crying river emoji]. ‘Cause what is thattttt.”
In a third and final post, Brown wrote, “All in all, I’m just praying for a healthy full term pregnancy/labor and delivery for me and my babe Boy or girl idc [I don’t care]. I’m just praying for healthy [prayer hands emoji].”

Jasmin Brown, 36, is currently expecting her second child with boyfriend, former NFL player-turned-podcaster Cam Newton, 36. The couple reportedly first began dating in 2021. However, they hard-launched their relationship at Milan Fashion Week in 2022.
Two years later, in February 2024, the couple welcomed their first child together. Their daughter marked Newton’s 8th overall across three women. Now, the couple is welcoming their second child, marking Newton’s 9th. Brown made the announcement on Mother’s Day.

Jasmin Brown and Cam Newton’s relationship has faced a bit of controversy due to his lifestyle and comments shared on his podcast, ‘Funky Friday.’ Newton not only admitted to cheating on Brown, but also revealed that marriage with her isn’t his ultimate goal. Before news of their second child, he also stated that he wants more children, but doesn’t desire marriage before it happens, if at all.
Despite the controversy and backlash on social media, Brown defended her relationship and stuck by her man. Although she’s attempted to make social media believe she is content with her relationship and understanding they have, her new comments leave users even more critical.
