“I’ve always been my sister’s biggest supporter, so when she needed help, I set up ways to do so,” Jamie Lynn, 30, said. “I went out of my way to make sure that she had the contacts she needed to possibly go ahead and end this conservatorship and just end this all for our family,” she continued. “If it’s going to cause this much discord, why continue it?”
“If she wanted to talk to other people, then I did [help]. I set that up,” Jamie Lynn told ABC News’ Juju Chang while promoting her upcoming memoir. “I even spoke to her previous legal team, and that did not end well in my favor.” Despite her claims, Britney has previously blasted her family for not speaking up about her 13-year conservatorship battle.
Britney said in an Instagram post back in October, “I suggest if you have a friend that’s been in a house that feels really small for four months…no car…no phone..no door for privacy and they have to work around 10 hours a day 7 days a week and give tons of blood weekly with never a day off…I strongly suggest you go to pick up your friend and get them the hell outta there !!!!” she wrote.
“If you’re like my family who says things like ‘sorry, you’re in a conservatorship’…probably thinking you’re different [from you] so they can f-k with you!!!!” she added.
