Jamie Lynn Spears Blasts Elon Musk Over His ‘Cat Killing Teslas’
Jamie Lynn Spears has taken to social media to blast Elon Musk over his “cat killing Teslas,” telling him he owes her “a couple of cats,” after her Tesla ran over several felines in the family.
In a since-deleted video, the 29-year-old actress went off on Musk claiming, “We have now lost — I don’t want to tell you how many cats — because they don’t hear the Tesla crank and unfortunate things happen and it’s really devastating and tragic for everyone involved.”

She adds that because of the car’s silent motor, animals never hear the vehicle coming. Therefore, she adamantly stated, “Elon Musk, let’s figure this out, you owe me a couple of cats.” Spears goes on to suggest that Teslas should update their systems and emit nosies that bother animals, so they move out of the way. After her post marinated and social media caught wind of it, she uploaded a note stating, “I did not run over any cats. TESLA is not to be blamed and was never intended to be.” She says “user error is admittedly involved” and “We always check for vehicles before moving a car.” Tesla nor Musk have yet to respond to Spears’ comments.
