Filming for Jamie Foxx’s latest movie, “Back In Action,” has been halted after the actor reportedly called the cops on a staffer who solicited a money scam during production of the upcoming motion picture in London.
The person in question, who has since been fired from the film, is alleged to have made Foxx an offer to buy a $40,000 Rolex watch, prompting the “Django Unchained” star to get law enforcement officials involved. According to The Sun, the employee, whose identity has yet to be disclosed, is assumed to have been linked to other scams in the past where they targeted wealthy celebrities with money-grabbing schemes.

While it’s unclear when the incident occurred, it was just a week ago when Foxx reportedly had to fire four people from production, including an executive producer, two directors, and his driver, per the Daily Mail. Putting the film together has been a complete nightmare, one source said, since there had already been a string of delays caused by the weather in the UK.
Not to mention that Cameron Diaz, who’s making her Hollywood comeback with this film after retiring back in 2014, is said to be fed up with the drama and will probably call off her plans to return to acting after filming wraps for this project, an insider added.
“This film has been a bit of a nightmare. There have been a lot of delays, especially with the weather thanks to filming outdoors in London in winter, but the latest issue is a bit more sinister.” Those who are still working on the forthcoming movie “will be glad” once production concludes because a lot of people have become fed up with the plentiful issues that keep arising.
Netflix bosses are said to have intervened following the latest on-set incident by conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. When the streaming giant was approached to speak on the situation, they refused to comment.

As for Diaz, it’s being speculated that the 50-year-old won’t actually return to acting for good after seeing how things have been unfolding on her comeback movie. The quarreling and high tension between staffers have apparently made her realize that stepping away from the film industry was the right decision after all.
“These back-to-back 10-hour workdays have been a lot on her and she hates being away from Raddix,” a supposed friend of Diaz told the Daily Mail. “Cameron loves being a mom more than anything in the world.”
It was during a phone conversation last year when Foxx managed to convince Diaz to “un-retire” from acting after placing her on a call with Tom Brady to give her some tips on how to get back into her profession.
“Cameron I hope you aren’t mad I recorded this, but no turning back now,” he tweeted along with an audio recording of the call.
