A British man has avoided jail time after engaging in a sexual fantasy with his girlfriend where she pretended to be raped during outdoor sexual intercourse. According to reports, two eyewitnesses, Amie Woodhead and Richard Thomas, stationed their vehicle at a car park near Scarborough Castle to watch a thunderstorm when they saw a woman being grabbed around her neck by Jamie Borrett.

Unaware that the woman was his girlfriend, the witnesses said they saw the female — whose identity has not been revealed — pushed against a wooden fence before her boyfriend began pulling down her pants as she repeatedly screamed, “Get off me!” Borrett refused to comply and proceeded by pulling down his own trousers as the woman continued to scream in a manner that sounded like a cry for help.

Woodhead and Thomas were horrified by what they heard that they ended up intervening. Thomas recounted that he rushed towards the nearby scene and shoved Borrett towards the ground, during which time he was already fully exposed. Before things escalated Borrett made it known that he and his girlfriend were simply role-playing and living out their sexual fantasies. While a court ended up sparing Barrett from jail, he was ordered to commit to 12 months of community service.

“Both witnesses were convinced they were watching a sexual assault,” prosecutor Martin Butterworth said. “Mr. Thomas ran towards the man and shoulder barged him to the floor. He was fully exposed. They could see his penis although the act did not appear to have been completed. If it had not been for the actions of the two witnesses, it would have continued. The man said ‘That’s my girlfriend. I’m her boyfriend. It’s a fantasy.’”

Borrett had explained that the incident occurred shortly after he and his girlfriend had been drinking at a nearby skate park when they suddenly decided to engage in a bizarre sexual act that would have him pretending to rape her while she pleaded for him to stop.

Alongside his 12-month community order, Borrett was also fined an estimated $100, as well as a $130 surcharge for the outrageous public decency of the uncalled-for act which should have most likely been performed in the privacy of their own home and not around other horrified onlookers.
