James Franco Coughs Up $2.2 Million To Resolve His Sexual Misconduct Case
It looks like after four long months James Franco has settled his sexual misconduct lawsuit. According to ET online, the new settlement was for a hefty amount!
Per court documents that were released on Wednesday June 30, 2021, Franco’s settlement amounts to $2, 235,000. As we previously reported, multiple students claimed that Franco forced them to act out intimate and explicit sexual scenes. “Orgy type” so that they could secure roles.

“I feel there was abuse power, and there was a culture of exploiting non-celebrity women, and a culture of women being replaceable,” stated Tither Kaplan, claimed a former student.

Franco has also spoken about the allegations saying “Look, in my life I pride myself on taking responsibility for things that I have done. If I have done something wrong, I will fix it-I have to.”
As we reported, Tither-Kaplan and four other women accused Franco of sexual assault in a 2018 Los Angeles Times article. She claimed he operated a scary work environment and forces them to do nude scenes.
“I got it in my head pretty quickly that, OK, you don’t say ‘no’ to this guy,” Tither-Kaplan sais in the L.A. Times. “I feel there was an abuse of power, and there was a culture of exploiting non-celebrity women and a culture of women being replaceable.”
