Jaheim Charged Once More with Animal Cruelty in Georgia — Here’s What We Know
R&B singer Jaheim is once again caught up in some serious legal heat — this time in the South. The “Fabulous” singer has reportedly been hit with six counts of animal cruelty in Georgia, according to newly surfaced court documents. This ain’t his first time in the headlines for something like this either.
‘Black Ink Crew’ Star Ceaser Emanuel Turns Himself In To Fulton County PD On Animal Cruelty Charges
Per the documents, Jaheim — real name Jaheim Hoagland — allegedly failed to provide clean water, proper ventilation, and sanitation for his dogs. Authorities say they discovered six dogs in his care that were reportedly neglected and under poor conditions. The charges are stacked and specific.
Here’s the dog lineup included in the complaint:
Tweet – Pit Bull Terrier
Tip – French Bulldog
Taka – Hound mix-breed
Tink – Pit Bull Terrier
Timber – Pit Bull Terrier
Tanger – Pit Bull Terrier
After being arrested, Jaheim was released from Fulton County Jail the very next day. No official statement has been made by the singer or his legal team as of now.
Jaheim’s Legal History and Public Reaction
This ain’t the first time Jaheim’s name been tied to animal cruelty. Back in 2021, the singer was also arrested in New Jersey after authorities found 15 dogs in distress at his home — some of them severely underfed and crammed in cages with no food or water.
Fast forward to 2025, and fans online are once again expressing a mix of concern and disappointment. Social media lit up with posts like:
“How you treat animals says a lot about you. This is not okay, Jaheim.”
“Man had the voice of an angel, but the heart of a villain when it comes to animals. Smh.”
“He need therapy AND jail time. Poor dogs.”
It’s especially wild considering how Jaheim once spoke on love, respect, and “putting women first” — but couldn’t put his dogs first?
