Irv Gotti, the renowned music producer known for collaborating with artists such as Ja Rule, Ashanti, and DMX, has experienced a stroke, according to hip-hop icon Wack100.

During a podcast episode on Monday, the well-known talent manager revealed concerning news about Irv Gotti’s condition. Wack100 mentioned that he had a conversation with an individual at a stroke rehabilitation facility, where he learned about the health issues facing the co-founder of Murder Inc., specifically that Irv had reportedly suffered a stroke.

A rep for Gotti confirmed the shocking news while speaking with TMZ, but says the incident happened months ago. “Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago. He has since changed his diet to eating more healthy. He’s been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life.”

Wack100 shared that he received photos of Irv Gotti during his recovery, including one image where the music producer is seen using a cane, which Wack referred to as a “walker.” This particular snapshot was reportedly taken outside a rehabilitation facility, and Wack noted that Irv has “lost a lot of weight” during this health ordeal.

In a heartfelt plea, Wack urged fans to “pray for Irv Gotti,” who has been grappling with various health issues in recent years, including an ongoing struggle with diabetes.

Last year, Irv discussed his health challenges on the “Drink Champs” podcast, expressing concern about how his diabetes was “deteriorating” his physical well-being. He admitted to being inconsistent with his insulin regimen and shared that his doctors had advised him to make dietary changes, a task he found difficult.

Alongside his health issues, Irv has also encountered legal difficulties. He was sued last month for allegations of sexual assault and rape by a woman who claims they were in a relationship from 2020 to 2022. She accused him of raping her multiple times in cities including Atlanta, Miami, and Saint Martin.

Irv has strongly denied the allegations at that time.
