Irina Shayk Turned Down Kanye West’s Invite To Paris, Relationship Was Never That Serious

Kayne West’s rumored romance with supermodel Irina Shayk looks to be coming to an end, and it apparently was never even a romance!

According to Yahoo, Mr. West wanted Shayk to join him in Paris for Paris Fashion Week’s Balenciaga show earlier this month.  Sources say the invitation was declined because she didn’t want it to look like they were dating.

“She likes him as a friend, but doesn’t want a relationship with him,” shared by a PageSix source “She doesn’t want the association that they are dating, which is what would have run in the press if she showed up [in Paris with him]. It would have been another month of news saying that they are dating.”

As we reported, social media went into a frenzy in June after she joined Kayne on his trip to France for his 44th birthday, but the source says it was a strictly friends-only trip: “She went to his birthday party as a friend. There were 50 other people there. She doesn’t want to be linked with anyone right now. She is happy being single.”

This rumored relationship could possibly be a spark from the past, back in 2010 she appeared in Kanye West’s music video “Power” so after his divorce with Kim Kardashian maybe he thought it was the time to rekindle an old friendship.

Lastly the source did state “Irina is a very hands-on mother and won’t let a new romance distract her from her daughter, so it’s perfect that things with Kanye are very casual and laid-back at the moment. They’re still getting acquainted, but the spark is definitely there, and Kanye likes where things are headed.”
