2021 has already been a bad year for Trump, not only did his ’supporters’ destroy the Capitol building yesterday, but now an Iraqi judge has issued a warrant for his arrest for the killing of Qassem Soleimani. Apparently, he could face the death penalty for his actions.

Iraq’s Supreme Judicial Council revealed on Thursday that a judge “decided to issue an arrest warrant against the outgoing President of the United States Donald Trump in accordance with the provisions of Article 406 of the Iraqi Penal Code” for the targeted killings of Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces deputy commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Quds Force commander Major General Qassem Soleimani.

Per FOX News, Under Iraq’s law, murder is punishable by death.

“The investigation procedures will continue to discover the other participants in the implementation of this crime, whether they are Iraqis or foreigners.”
