Drake’s been living it up in Sweden all week but it looks like he has some problems back home.
Cops recently arrested a man at his California pad who claimed that the rapper is his pops! LAPD tells TMZ that cops were called to Drizzy’s Beverly Hills-adjacent mansion last Friday after an employee saw someone near the pool house. When police arrived, they found the 23-year-old who claimed that 35-year-old Drake was his dad and he was just waiting for him to come home.
Clearly, cops wasn’t buying it and arrested the guy for misdemeanor trespassing. Thankfully, the guy never made it inside the house.
Now, Drake does have a son named Adonis who he hid from the world respectfully, but were sure he didn’t father his first child at 12…
So Why Did Drake Hide His Son From The World?
Drake became a father to a son back on October 11, 2017 and we probably still wouldn’t know who his son is had rapper Pusha T not aired out his business in a 2018 rap song. It took him a month to release a brief but telling acknowledgment of fatherhood. Drake also spoke about Adonis in one of his tracks titled “Emotionless. “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid,” he rapped.
“I am a single father learning to communicate with a woman who, you know, we’ve had our moments,” Drake said when he presented his son to the world. “I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened. But I don’t have any desire for him to like, not love his mother, or I don’t ever want the world to be angry at his mother. We have found ourselves in a situation, and we are both equally responsible.”
Adonis’ mother is Sophie Brussaux, the artistic director of Arts Help. The rapper previously said he has unconditional love for Brussaux because he wants Adonis “to love his mother and I have to project that energy.”
However, during an interview with Lil Wayne, Drake explained why he wanted to keep his precious son a secret, saying, “I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son.” He added at the time, “I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be, you know, a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket. I just wanted to free myself of that.”
In other Drake news, the rapper found himself in some sort of bind the other day while in Sweden. Over the weekend, reports claimed that he was arrested! His team initially denied rumors about the alleged marijuana-related run-in, but the entertained recently posted a doc on his IG titled, “Information for Those Suspected of a Crime and Subsequently Detained” which suggests he got this from Swedish authorities.
