Intoxicated Paramedic Kills Patient After Crashing Ambulance, Calls Uber To Flee
A paramedic who reportedly admitted to smoking weed, taking Adderall, and drinking a beer while driving an ambulance, is facing multiple charges after crashing his ambulance and killing the patient he was transporting. To make matters worse he then tried to get an Uber to escape.
Kevin McCorvey, 34, from Marietta,Georgia faces charges of DUI, second-degree vehicular homicide, open container and failure to maintain lane.

According to the NY Post, Wilton Thomason, a 66 died. He was a dialysis patient and was unrestrained in the back of the ambulance. Apparently, when police responded to the crash site, McCorvey and other first responders tried to revive him to no avail.
Police had to reportedly stop McCorvey and another paramedic after they attempted to get an Uber away from the incident.
McCorvey admitted to drinking and smoking and was arrested. The other paramedic was released.
