Eli Mouton’s Frightening Instagram Post

Mouton took to Instagram with a warning for her followers, writing:

“⚠️⚠️⚠️ A reminder for the ladies: REMOVE your neck scarves before entering or operating any heavy machinery! Nearly decapitated myself getting the scarf tangled underneath the car on the way home 😅.”

She explained that the accident happened when the scarf snagged beneath the vehicle and tightened around her neck as the car moved. The friction left a burn across her skin, which she later showed in photos.

What Happened During the Incident

Prior to the accident, Mouton had posted a photo wearing an all-black dress with an ankle-length scarf draped over her shoulders. But what started as a stylish outfit turned into a near-tragedy.

As the car drove off, the scarf caught underneath, pulling against her neck with enough force to cause a burn. Thankfully, she managed to break free before suffering worse injuries.

She clarified that although the burn was painful, she was safe and would be following up with a doctor to treat the wound.

Her Message to Fans

Speaking to 7News, Mouton reassured her followers that she was okay despite the terrifying ordeal:

“We are off to get this medically dressed — don’t worry folks. My spirits are still high. Thriving and surviving.”

She framed the experience as a lesson in safety, reminding her fans that fashion choices can have unexpected risks when combined with machinery and moving vehicles.

Her post quickly went viral, sparking conversations online about clothing safety and unusual accidents involving accessories.
