60-year-old Lee Jeffers was captured on camera confronting 15-year-old Breonna Nelson Hicks and her two friends outside of her grandfather’s home in Wellington. Hicks explained that Jeffers started to follow her and her friends while they were riding in a golf cart through another part of the Grand Isles development. The boys pulled over the small vehicle to let Jeffers pass by but he decided to stop his vehicle to confront the teens. Additionally, the two boys who operated the golf cart ran away, leaving Hicks and her two friends to walk to her grandfather’s house.

The video begins after Jeffers followed the girls to the home where he tells them: ‘Taking my picture, I really don’t care, because you don’t belong in this development,.’ He continues to antagonize the girls and demands to know their names and addresses despite them telling Jeffers they are from the community.

Jeffers says to the girls after they refuse to give him any information that he was going to contact security and have them all arrested. He also followed Hicks when she went inside to find her grandfather.

‘Yeah, bring him out right now, bring him out right now,’

Her grandfather, Tony Nelson, confronted Jeffers and he starts to put his hands up although Nelson tells him not to stick his hand out. The video stops after Nelson asked Jeffers if he threatened a child and Jeffers backs away.

The U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services said in a statement that they were investigating the video and called it ‘disturbing.’

‘We are looking into the matter that has been reported in the press about this individual’s off-duty behavior. The video is certainly disturbing, and we are working to get all available information in considering what action, if any, may be appropriate for the agency to take.’
