Iggy Azalea fired back at a reporter who made it no secret to his followers he was not looking forward to seeing the rapper perform during Sunday’s game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Houston Texans. The match, which was held at the Allegiant Stadium in Sin City, saw Azalea grace the stage during halftime as she performed a medley of her hits to a packed crowd — but not everyone seemed cheerful about her being booked as the stadium’s musical guest.

Tashan Reed, a writer covering Raiders games for The Athletic sports app, made his opinion known ahead of Azalea’s performance when he tweeted, “The combination of Allegiant Stadium trying to make BBQ and Iggy Azalea performing at halftime is gonna make me depressed.” The “Freak Of The Week” rapper didn’t appear to have noticed the comment until after hitting the stage, as she hopped onto Twitter to respond to the not-so-nice remark.

“If you think you’re depressed now I’ll spare you the tears you’d cry knowing what my paycheck was to come and jiggle a lil a**,” Azalea wrote, implying that she was paid a significant amount for the gig. Reed later followed up saying the rapper’s stans had not only taken over his timeline but also his gym playlist, while sharing a video of himself entering a gym with Azalea’s music playing in the background.

But Reed wasn’t done yet. He appeared to keep the drama going by claiming his song of the day was “Magnolia,” the 2017 hit song by Azalea’s ex, Playboy Carti, with whom she shares her son, Onyx Kelly.

Over the years, Azalea has more or less become a clap back queen, having refused to remain silent when people were coming for her on and off social media. Just a few months back, the Aussie-born responded to vicious comments people had made about her body, stressing that while the things she had read about her were “mean” and “ugly,” Azalea still considered herself to be that girl.

“It’s a good thing I genuinely feel happy about myself & my body cause y’all stay in every comment section talking the most shit about me & it’s very mean spirited & ugly,” she tweeted, adding, “Ps. your man 100% wants to fuck me.”
