Before the blast, officers responded to a call regarding reports of gunfire in the downtown area around 5:30 a.m.
Those injured in the blast were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and were reported to be in stable condition. The explosions reportedly caused communication outages, leading the FAA to keep flights grounded at the Nashville International Airport.
