Hulu’s “Into The Dark” Explores The Dark Side Of The Holidays

It’s that time of the year where Hulu’s “Into the Dark” explores the dark side of the holidays with it’s newest episode, “Pooka.”
If you tuned into the past two episodes you know we have already seen what can go wrong during Halloween and Thanksgiving. That means episode three will ultimately revolve around Christmas time.
“Pooka” is centered around a young man played by Nyasha Hatendi, who ends up working in a costume that isn’t just a costume. Numerous moments in the episode shows that the costume is taking control of Hatendi’s character whilst he is wearing the costume. We see him go through different situations in his life within his role as Pooka. At times, we can’t differentiate what is real and what is coming from Hatendi’s imagination. Whether he is a murderer or he’s imagining it all, there is no dull moment!
The third installment definitely mixes up the horror and thriller elements seen in the last two, but, you end up feeling sympathetic towards the end as the real story unravels.
