As we previously reported, Wendy Williams revealed to Hollywood Unlocked’s CEO Jason Lee that she is a married woman again. During their phone conversation Tuesday afternoon, Wendy only shared that her new man’s name is Henry and that he is an NYPD officer. She didn’t share further details on their marriage or relationship but she did give Lee a few updates on her life including her ongoing financial battle and family drama.
Wendy told Lee that she no longer has access to her Amex and that her good friend Will Selby of 14 years and another close friend has been helping her maintain access to one of her accounts. She also told Lee that she’s trying to stay positive but has asked her entire team to keep her family away from her with the exception of her son, Kevin Hunter Jr. Now, this Wednesday, Will Selby, who also serves as Wendy’s rep, released a statement to deny claims that she is married. He said to Page Six, “That’s inaccurate,” Selby told the outlet. “She is excited about a new relationship and probably got carried away in conversation.”
In a new conversation this morning with Jason Lee, Wendy maintained that she is married and doesn’t know why her rep isn’t on the same page as her but shared a possible reason why. She said to Lee, “Everybody seems to have a problem with that. I’m married,” the 58-year-old told Lee. She continued, “I’m married! I don’t care who knows it.” As for Will trying to discredit Lee, Wendy says, “Will sees no point in me getting married. But you know what? F*ck Will. 14 years I’ve known him. I’ve always said f*ck him… in a good way. I didn’t know what podcast was, he put me onto podcast,” Wendy noted before concluding.

Jason then chimed in and said, “well if you’re comfortable with him then cool. But he needs to watch his mouth and keep my name out of his mouth with that bullsh*t. From there, Wendy confirmed that Will is in fact her rep but then Lee offered some advice saying, “well somehow he needs to get on the same page with you ‘cause clearly you talked to me and I said what I said so…” Wendy replied, “it’s ok.”
Aside from the rep, Wendy’s ex-husband Kevin Hunter has yet to react to the news. However, he previously came to her defense and slammed her talk show finale as a “travesty” and said she deserved a bigger celebration.

It officially came to an end in June after it had been unclear when she would return. Wendy had to take months off to focus on her health as she’s battling Graves Disease and an aggravated thyroid condition. Despite that, her supporters have been by her side, offering endless love and support.
