Last night, Tres Generaciones Tequila, Billboard’s official tequila partner for 2024, added a special touch at one of the music industry’s most celebrated events —the R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players in New York City. Known as a premium tequila crafted for creators and innovators, Tres Generaciones® added a special touch to the night as they honored some of the industry’s most influential executives.

Before the main event, the premium tequila brand hosted an exclusive dinner to recognize the achievements of artists who have made significant career strides. The intimate gathering celebrated their talent, passion, and resilience to strive throughout their journey. The main highlight of the evening was the Billboard Impact Award presented by Tres Generaciones® to Brooklyn-born rapper Joey Bada$$ for his influence, which extends beyond his music. His impact on the community includes launching the first-ever Impact Summit at Columbia University, inspired by his mentorship program, and touching the lives of many in his local community.
The artist mentioned during his speech that this is the first time he’s accepted an award throughout his 12-year career and called the moment “a big deal.” Following the dinner, the night continued with the R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players event, which brought together top artists and influential figures from the industry. Other notable honorees were Playboi Carti, Megan Thee Stallion, and Teezo Touchdown.
Guests and honorees enjoyed an unforgettable night of music, accolades, and crafted cocktails at the Edition Times Square Hotel. Other attendees included Serayah, Offset, BkThaRula, NLE Choppa, David Banner, Black Coffee, Duckworth, Skilla Baby and Lil Mosey.
