HU Exclusive: Giving You The Keys To The 50K Charity Challenge Celebrity Basketball Game

The second annual 50K charity challenge celebrity basketball game went off without a hitch and Hollywood Unlocked was in the building for an inside exclusive.


Hollywood Unlocked was in the building on Tuesday night as celebrities and hundreds of fans packed out the UCLA Pauley Pavilion for the 2nd annual $50K Charity Challenge Celebrity Basketball Game.

This year the coaches were Floyd Mayweather and Rob Gronkowski who both had teams that consisted of athletes, actors, comedians, and social media influencers.

Power 106 DJ, DJ Felli Fel hosted the event alongside Power’s new morning show host Nick Cannon who actually took to the court and made a couple of shots.

During halftime, the crowd was pumped up as 1TakeJay took the stage and performed his hit song “Hello.” That was followed up by Dababy who hit the floor to perform his song “Surge.” Last but not least, Ty Dolla $ign who performed some of his major throwbacks like “Wavy,” “Paranoid,” and “Blasé.”

The night’s event focused mainly on cancer with Teen Cancer America being one of the sponsors. However as Mayweather said, it was not just about cancer, the whole event is about shining light on various charities and ensuring that they feel loved.

While it was for charity, there is still a winner and a loser as Floyds team took home the win while he and his son were named MVP’s.
