HU EXCLUSIVE: Giving You The Keys To The 2019 Black Girls Rock Carpet!
It was nothing but glitz, glam and a whole bunch of beautiful black women at the Black Girls Rock Awards this year! Hollywood Unlocked was in the building where we not only got to chat with some of our favorite stars, but also got to take in a bunch of special moments with some of the incredible ladies.

HU’s very own Jason Lee kicked things off and shared why the BGR Awards was such an important event. Miss USA, singer Hood Celebrity and actress Skai Jackson also told us what being in a room filled with powerful and inspiring women meant to them.
The OG Brandy graced the carpet and shared her love for the new generation of artists like Kehlani, and H.E.R, while beloved actress Angela Basset, Rapsody and Remy Ma let us know their true definition of Black woman who rocks!
The big event is set to air on September 8th on BET!
