FTN Bae, whose real name is Britney Alexis Elder, was arrested in Miami on February 28 for perjury/official proceedings charges following an appearance in a United States District Court of the Southern District of Florida. According to court documents obtained by Hollywood Unlocked, Elder will be responsible for paying damages totaling $11 million. Damages include $1 million for both defamation and punitive, $4 million compensatory, and $5 million for two separate counts of interference.
Elder initially accused the Chicago rapper in October 2021 of sexually assaulting her then-five-year-old son with screws during an August attack. Elder shared audio via her social media accounts of her son crying and detailing the purported abuse while also allegedly pinpointing Doodie Lo, whose given name is David Saulsberry, as the perpetrator. Since the allegations were first made public, Elder has been caught up in legal crosshairs herself after being arrested in February 2022 on charges related to her purported harassment of Saulsberry that include, “aggravated stalking after injunction for protection and aggravated stalking-dating violence.” Elder’s son was also declared incompetent to testify during a preliminary hearing on February 27.
Saulsberry and his legal counsel maintained his innocence and denied the claims outright, alleging the motive behind them was rooted in the pair’s failed four-month-long relationship. Saulsberry celebrated his major win in the courtroom in an Instagram post in which he thanked his legal representation for her “sleepless nights,” working the case. The

In an exclusive E-Mail Q&A with Hollywood Unlocked, Saulsberry echoed the sentiments he wrote in his IG post while also speaking about his plans to embrace his “new purpose,” despite the immense amount of trauma he had to endure throughout the legal process during this lawsuit.
I just wanted justice and awareness to the pain that me and my family endured during this trial. Being innocent and falsely accused for something so evil traumatized me for so long.
Like I said earlier, just awareness. It’s time we acknowledge men who are falsely accused for sex crimes they didn’t commit. We need a voice too, no disrespect to the #MeToo movement which is important but we have to address those who are innocent and how these type of situations can ruin the lives of the innocent.
We’re just focused on spreading awareness. It’s unfortunate I had to be used for this but I’m going to make sure I do my diligence to be a voice for the innocent and get back to what’s important to me which is taking care of my family and the career that supports them.
Personally it f*cked me up mentally. I’m still traumatized and will need on-going therapy moving forward. And business wise I lost a lot of opportunities but now that I got justice, the truth came to light and I just want everyone to give an innocent man a 2nd chance at life. All the hate I received as an innocent man was unjust and detrimental to my heart and soul.
This made me appreciate the real people in my life and those that believed in me. This just makes me go harder and pick up an additional mission which is to help the innocent in similar situations. If God chose me to be this voice then this is my new purpose.
Saulsberry, who is a member of Durk’s Only The Family (OTF) record label, burst onto the rap music scene in 2017 after joining forces with Smurk for their “James Bond,” collaboration. Since, Saulsberry, known by his stage name Doodie Lo, has appeared on multiple albums including Lil Durk’s chart-topping 7220 project and the OTF compilation album Loyal Bros 2. His current hit “I Swear To God,” featuring Kodak Black has amassed well over three million views on the official visuals on YouTube.
