HU Exclusive: Giving You The Keys To The Aquaman Premiere
While hitting the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Warner Bros Pictures ushered in the U.S. premiere of DC’s Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson and more.
Hitting the carpet for the IMAX premiere, Hollywood Unlocked spoke with the cast and crew about a torn-between-two-worlds Aquaman and the lessons learned as viewers.

Additionally, speaking with the film’s screenwriter David Leslie Johnson McGoldrick, he explains, “This is a very important theme for Jason, going in. The idea of coming from two different places, to have mixed parentage and maybe not knowing where you fit into the world. And realize that maybe this thing that people are telling you is your weakness is really your strength. Your power is actually coming from this unique upbringing that you’ve had; that nobody else has had.”
In addition, the leading actor Jason Momoa shares that the film has “a great sense of humor, there’s ton of action in it. It’s a world that we’ve never seen before. It’s a couple beautiful themes; when you walk out, like good movies, it sits with you.”
Aquaman hits theaters, Friday December 21.
