The employee is suspected of possibly supplying Payne with anti-anxiety medication that was discovered in his room after his death. According to TMZ, the investigation is primarily focusing on whether the hotel worker played a role in providing some of the drugs found in the singer’s system. These drugs included a mix of crack, cocaine, ketamine, ecstasy, and a powerful form of crystal meth known as “cristal.”

The autopsy results have confirmed the presence of multiple drugs in Payne’s system, including a dangerous mix of “pink cocaine.” The main focus of the investigation is to determine whether the dangerous drug cocktail found played a role in his fatal fall. One police official suggested that the drugs contributed to his apparent suicide.

As previously reported, police also believe Payne was under the influence of drugs that cause hallucinations, and initial reports claim he had fallen from the balcony in a state of distress, but the exact cause was unknown. His autopsy report revealed the star suffered from internal injuries to the body, affecting the skull, limbs, and abdomen. A cause of death was determined to be multiple trauma, along with internal and external bleeding.

His girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, left the country a few days before the tragic fall. In response, she released a statement and asked the public to let her grieve privately on Friday.

“Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way,I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days has felt real. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you, Liam.”
