Home Invasion Suspect Nabbed After Leaving Homework In Getaway Car!
At least he had his priorities somewhat in order.
A Teenager involved in a Las Vegas deadly home invasion robbery was arrested after he left his homework in the getaway car.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Kamari Oliver left his math homework in a backpack inside a vehicle on March 25 after he and others crashed into a wall outside the victim’s home and escaped on foot.
“Inside the backpack was a school Chrome Book along with a notebook of schoolwork, specifically math work,” the police report wrote. “In the top right corner of the schoolwork, the name ‘Kamari Oliver’ and ‘5th Period’ were written.”

They 18-year-old was arrested at Las Vegas Valley high school. He is currently facing charges of murder, robbery, burglary and kidnapping in connection with the death of Natalie Manduley.
Police believe the robbery was a targeted hit as Manduley’s boyfriend sells expensive jewelry, and $5,000 in cash was found in the red backpack hidden inside the abandoned Mercedes.
“I think the evidence is going to show he never went inside of that house,” Oliver’s attorney Dan Winder said. “He’s an 18-year-old with no prior criminal history as an adult or juvenile. We believe the facts are going to show he was not involved in any murder.”
As of now it is not clear if his math homework ever made it to his teacher.
