Hollywood publicist Linda Luna breaks her silence after coming under fire for sharing a post on her personal Facebook about her former clients Christian Combs and Justin Combs’ father Sean “Diddy” Combs.
On Wednesday (September 18), Luna shared a lengthy message about her thoughts on Diddy’s recent FBI arrest, which was followed by two bail denials. Diddy has been hit with a 3-count indictment: racketeering conspiracy (RICO), sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Diddy’s RICO charge carries a maximum sentence of life in prison, as does his charge of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. His transportation for purposes of prostitution charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
Taking to her personal Facebook, Christian Combs and Justin Combs’ publicist Linda Luna wrote, “This Diddy controversy is truly so unfortunate. I work with his son Christian as his publicist in the music area and I have worked with Justin too. I’ve been around Diddy many times. I’ve been to his parties and after-parties and I’ve never seen what they are claiming. But, I do feel like maybe he was trying to change over the past year, but it seems like it was too late and his past transgressions have come to light and now he has to face the consequences.”
Luna continued, “But, let’s remember, no one is limited to God’s grace and mercy. So, hopefully, he will find redemption within that and if it’s God’s will, he’ll get another chance to make it right and redeem himself with those that have been affected by him.”

She added, “But, even if not, hopefully, his consequences will serve as a proactive example and change in this industry. Especially, towards women because there are a lot of other powerful men in this industry that I have witnessed do worse, if not the same as the allegations in this case. So, anyway, God bless him and the family and the victims, as they deserve justice for whatever is [true] in all this. And may God have mercy on all the people casting stones or judgmental opinion.”
Immediately after publishing her post, Luna’s comments went viral and caused tons of backlash with social media users not only calling out her grammar but also her seemingly further damaging comments about her clients’ father Diddy. Eventually speaking out, she shared an official statement in regard to the backlash.
She stated, “This was a private conversation with family on my personal Facebook. Unfortunately, my comment was shared to the public. It was never intended to be an official or professional statement.”
