H&M Store Closes After Employee Shares Photos Of Bed Bugs On Clothing
A H&M location in New York’s World Trade Center has closed after an employee shared images of the clothes that were being sold covered in bed bugs!
“I work at the H&M in the Oculus at World Trade & today a customer discovered lice on a rack of hoodies,” Netroya, 28, tweeted.
“They’re not closing the store nor are they notifying employees of the problem,” she added. “The section was just blocked off.”

The tweet was shared thousands of times on Twitter and one commenter even indicated that the bugs were not lice and were actually bedbugs and that the store should be closed immediately to prevent further contamination with customers and other employees.
An H&M rep told The NY Post that the store closed following the tweets.
“We take customer and employee safety extremely seriously. Out of an abundance of caution we closed the H&M store at Westfield World Trade Center in order to investigate fully,” the rep said.

The unsightly scene sparked a surge of shock and disgust throughout social media.
