Hillary Clinton Slams Donald Trump For Pardoning Roger Stone To Shut Him Up
Hillary Clinton is slamming Donald Trump over his pardoning Roger Stone, claiming Trump only did so to shut him up regarding the alleged Russian influence in the 2016 election.
Speaking with MSNBC, Clinton blasts, “This is a continuation of the cover up. What he did was to use the awesome power of commutation as part of the pardon power of the president to basically shut up Roger Stone so that Roger Stone would not spill any more beans about what actually happened and how much Donald Trump actually knew.”

Furthermore, to recall, earlier this month, the president commuted his former campaign adviser, freeing him of a three-year and four-month prison sentence for lying to Congress, witness tampering and obstructing an official proceeding.
Stone was the last of six Trump associates charged in Robert Mueller’s investigation of the president’s 2016 campaign and election. It is stated that Stone plans to help Trump during his 2020 reelection.
