Per the news source, the “speed bump” went super viral earlier this year on TikTok and it was also revealed to be the favorite position of a ‘Love Island‘ cast member Tom Clare, which only caused a surge in the whole world taking to their devices and using Google to look up how to try it at home. Now, per Delicto, the “speed bump” is the number one sex position in the United Kingdom.

And according to relationship expert Annabelle Knight, “The speed bump position is a variation on doggy style – whereby the person with a vagina is led face down instead of on their knees, with a pillow or a wedge underneath their hips to raise their pelvis. Hence, speed bump.”

Meanwhile, the most searched relationship question of the year on Google was: “What does non-binary mean in a relationship?” Bima Loxely, a non-binary sex & relationship therapist, said the question can be interpreted in two different ways.

First, the person asking the question could be asking what a relationship that doesn’t abide by the typical gender binary might look like. However, a second view of this question could be asking what it looks like for non-binary people to be in relationships. In that sense, it might be a bit more complex to answer.

Bima said, “[A] non-binary relationship might mean queering sexuality, or queering the relationship,” adding that this then could lead people to further ask what labels they should use to describe their sexuality.
