The two comedians who recently broken the interview with viral interviews are joining forces and going on tour together.
As we previously reported, Mo’Nique hopped on Instagram live earlier today to address her viral interview with Shannon Sharpe that led D.L. Hughley to come out and call her a liar. During the live, she made it clear that she has no issues with Hughley and she wouldn’t mind being adults and hashing their differences out for the community. She also took the time to address Charlamagne Tha God after he publicly apologized to her on The Breakfast Club Thursday morning for speaking on her business when she previously sued Netflix. But after getting past all of that before she got off Instagram live she made a huge announcement that she’ll be joining Katt Williams’ “The Dark Matter” tour.
“I want to talk to y’all about Katt Williams,” she began saying. “Y’all know that is my fraternal twin brother, nonbiological and I want to tell y’all about my twin brother Katt Williams! I’m going to be joining my brother, Katt Williams on The Dark Matter tour so I am excited and I cannot wait to see y’all. Connecticut I’ll see y’all tomorrow night with our brother Katt Williams.” She also went on to give props to Katt Williams for the way he’s touched the black community. “As talented as you are your heart is far bigger. That brother has touched our community in ways he’s never even talked about, those are the real ones.”
Katt Williams shut down the internet as soon as the new year started when he did his interview with Shannon Sharpe and called out the entire comedy industry. After his video raked in more than 50 million views several other comedians in the game responded to him, but Katt still hasn’t publicly said anything about his viral interview.
He also (just like Mo’Nique) had a few words to say about Kevin Hart and after his interview it was announced that Kevin’s ex-wife Torrei Hart was joining Katt on tour which fans thought was on purpose, but Torrei shut those rumors down real quick.
“Why would he do that?” she said. “Me and Katt are friends. We go back like 20 years. We’ve been friends [for] 20 years. We’re so close to the point that Katt has babysat my dog. I had a pit bull and Katt babysat my pit bull. Suge Knight was—I mean like no, we go way back to where I’m telling you we have history,” Torrei shared while speaking with TMZ last month.
As we previously reported, While clips of Katt Williams’ interview were still going viral on social media, Torrei Hart announced on her Instagram that she was going on tour with Katt. If you remember, during the interview Katt attempted to call Kevin Hart out and say that he is an industry plant but Kevin quickly responded to those claims on his X account. “Gotta get that anger up outcha champ,” he wrote. “It’s honestly sad. In the meantime…. Please enjoy MY MOVIE TRAILER to my next film LIFT.”
If the only way these people can get attention is to tear down other black people… I’ll just let them pass me by. It’s not humorous. And if crimes have been committed then they are serious…still not humorous. #GrowUp
