Wissam Hilal: He Escaped The Syrian War. Now, He’s A Pop Star!

Wissam Hilal is an international Syrian pop singer-songwriter on the rise. Born in Sweida City, Syria, the singer escaped the Syrian Civil War back in 2012 to pursue his dreams in Dubai. Soon after, he was signed by some of the biggest producers. Then in 2013, Wissam made his first International collaboration in Los Angeles, with multi-platinum producer Bryan Todd for BT Entertainment.

As the rising star made a name for himself in the Middle East, as well as Europe, he was chosen to be an NRJ Music Tour artist in 2014 alongside UK pop sensation, Connor Maynard.

Today we meet Wissam on the heels of another hit. After dropping ‘This Feeling’ on Thursday, it has already garnered 550,000 views, while also airing on MTV France, as well as MTV Latin America. “This Feeling” has also debuted at #37 on iTunes charts in the United Arab Emirates and is expected to chart globally once the new major campaign launches.

Wissam Hilal’s manager Mams Taylor manages S-X who recently charted at #1 in the UK with “Down Like That” alongside KSI, Rick Ross, and Lil Baby. S-X composed and produced “This Feeling.”

Wissam has already had hits on the table, his 2018 single “Harmony” reached Top 30 Overall Chart on iTunes in the UK and the music video reached #3 on Apple Music in the UK also.

Wissam Hilal’s deal with Universal Music MENA is helping the rising star to expand into major markets around the globe and be able to release a new single every two months, which will be accompanied by a music video and remixes, so should we expect more music on the way?
