Harvey Weinstein: Prison Officials Fear Another ‘Epstein Incident’
Following yesterday’s conviction of Harvey Weinstein, for rape and criminal sexual assault, the ex-movie mogul was taken to the hospital with chest pains; and now prison officials fear of another “Epstein incident” — a suicide.
Per TMZ, NYC’s Department of Corrections detail “there’s anxiety running through the ranks about another “Epstein Incident” and the scrutiny that would follow if [such took place] on their watch.”

Subsequently, officials have enacted a plan, which features housing the 67-year-old in a private section of Rikers Island’s North Infirmary Command; meant for high-profile inmates or those with health issues — both of which he fits.
Additionally, once there, officials say Weinstein would more than likely get his own cell with 24-hour surveillance cameras, and DOC escorts for when he’s moving about prison grounds.

Currently, Weinstein continues to heal at the Bellevue Hospital, under surveillance. Upon his transfer to prison, the convicted sex offender is expected to serve a minimum of five years behind bars.
Furthermore, the “Epstein incident” is in reference to the suicide hanging of Jeffrey Epstein.
Back in August 2019, the convicted sex offender was found dead in his NYC jail cell, following his charges on sex trafficking of minors.
Reportedly, Epstein’s trials was set to reveal the celebrities and political leaders allegedly involved in covert elite sex trafficking rings, around the world.
