Harvey Weinstein Having Tough Time In Jail Eating “Bologna Sandwiches”
Harvey Weinstein is not cut out for jail and he’s already having a tough time being a convicted rapist.
According to Page Six, a source reveals that the disgraced movie mogul is having insomnia and eating down bologna sandwiches as he waits to be sentenced. He is currently at Bellevue Hospital for high blood pressure.
“This is a very tough adjustment, and he’s not doing it well,” the source said. “He was on top of the world with women, mansions and wine and song. Now that’s all over,” the source added. “Tonight he’s eating a bologna sandwich.”
The 67-year-old has been finding it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
“He’s not sleeping,” said the source. “He’s walking in the limited area. He’s very restless. He’s got a lot on his mind.”
According to his lawyer Donna Rotunno, Weinstein is primarily worried about his young children. “He has always been somebody who has wanted to shield them from this,” said Rotunno. “His fear is just not being able to be there for them.”
“I’m sure right now for him it’s surreal,” said Rotunno. “How could it not be, especially when you do maintain you never forced anyone to do anything?”
The mogul will be sentenced on March 11. He faces at least 29 years in jail.
