Harvey Weinstein ‘Broke’ And Will Most Likely Die In Jail

Apparently, disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein is now broke and will most likely pass away in prison if he’s not released on bail.

“[Weinstein’s] physical and mental condition has so deteriorated, I do not think it’s an overstatement to say that if he is not released as part of this application, his chances of surviving in prison are rather low,” said his lawyer, Barry Kamins, “The defendant is almost blind, and he’s not ambulatory, and he’s on 20 medications.”

Kamins revealed Weinstein has diabetic retinopathy, coronary artery disease and spinal stenosis, and that his money has ran out. He is a frail old man.

“He is not a man of any means at this point,” Kamins told the judge. “He has no money.”

Weinstein’s lawyer did suggest that his wealthy friends could help him with bail, which is up to $5M.

As we reported,  Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison. Weinstein is in isolation at the Wende Correctional Facility in Erie County, New York,
