Harvey Weinstein Accuser Claims In New Lawsuit That She Stabbed Him In His Scrotum While Fighting Him Off
In a new lawsuit, one Harvey Weinstein accuser claims she stabbed the disgraced movie mogul in his scrotum in self-defense during an alleged sexual assault incident in 2012. The woman, identified as Hayley Gripp, is one of the latest accusers to file a lawsuit against Weinstein — who’s currently in prison serving a 23-year sentence for rape and sexual assault.
Gripp claims Weinstein sexually assaulted her in 2012, with the help of an unnamed female associate. Per court documents, Gripp, who was 19 at the time, says she was confronted by the anonymous associate during a casting call at the Beverly Hilton hotel. During their conversation, they discussed her aspiring career and Tourette’s syndrome, and soon, the woman offered to take her to Weinstein — whom she claimed would enjoy talking business with her.
Despite her hesitation, Gripp agreed and soon met Weinstein. She says she was served wine, blacked out and awoke to Weinstein on top of her. While flailing her arms around to get from under him, Gripp says she broke one of her acrylic nails on a coffee table and proceeded to stab Weinstein on the bottom of his scrotum — resulting in her breaking free and running to safety. Gripp says when she fled, the female Weinstein associate was outside “standing guard” and told her to keep quiet as no one would believe her due to her syndrome. Weinstein denies the entire incident, claiming he has no knowledge of Gripp nor her “stunningly dishonest and contrived” claims — which he’s reportedly planning to take legal action against.
