Halsey Will Never Do An Interview Again After Magazine Disrespects Her Pronouns

New Mom Halsey will no longer be doing press interviews after a publication recently misgendered her. While Demi Lovato might be more forgiving, Halsey definitely is not having it and demands her respect.

The star, who goes by the pronouns “she/they,” spoke out about her frustrations on Twitter with #NoMorePress after Allure used “she/her” in their August cover story of her.

“hey @Allure_magazine. First, your writer made a focal point in my cover story my pronouns and you guys deliberately disrespected them by not using them in the article,” Halsey posted and deleted on Twitter per E! News).

“Then your admin bastardized a quote where I discuss the privilege of being the white child of a black parent + Intentionally used a portion that was the antithesis of the point I was trying to make,” she added.

Halsey finished her comments with “Do f–king better…?” and, “#NoMorePress goodbye.”

As we reported, Halsey previously spoke about her different views on gender, especially after experiencing pregnancy.

“I thought pregnancy would give me very strongly, binary feelings about ‘womanhood’ but truly it has leveled my perception of gender entirely,” .she said “My sensitivity to my body has made me hyper-aware of my humanness and that’s all.”
