A few days ago, Drake teased his new single “Slime You Out,” featuring SZA, which marks his first collaboration with the singer, and the first song from his upcoming album ‘For All the Dogs,’ which was due out Friday (September 15), but has now been postponed.

Taking to his Instagram Story on the album’s anticipated release, Drake revealed the update, claiming, “Okay my dilemma I am faced with is either cancel shows to finish the album or I complete the mission and drop the album before the last show. I owe you all these memories we are building and anywhere we have missed to date, we will be spinning back for sure. ‘For All The Dogs,’ [out] October 6th. It’s only right…”

But prior to the album update, on Wednesday (September 13), Drake posted the cover art for the album’s first single “Slime You Out, on his social media. The image showed a sharpened and touched-up image of actress Halle Berry getting slimed at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

Now, reacting to the “Slime You Out” single cover art, Berry took to her Instagram on Friday (September 15) and posted an image of a pink square with white text that read, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy … even if you’re a woman!” In her caption, she simply posted the emoji finger pointing upwards. In the comments, Berry ended up explaining more.

One social media user ended up asking the ‘Catwoman‘ actress what her thoughts were about the Toronto musician using a photo of her being slimed, mouth open, etc. for his single’s cover art. She said, “Didn’t get my permission. That’s not cool. I thought better of him!” She continued to add, “Hence my post today. When people you admire disappoint you, you have to be the bigger person and move on!”

While many other users agreed with Berry’s stance on having to be the bigger person in situations, others criticized her comments about Drake and using her photo for his new single. One person wrote, “You[‘re] literally not even the actual official cover art he just posted that pic to announce it. You trying way too hard to be a victim.” Another person wrote, “What are you crying about? lol.” A third said, “Girl shut upppp my man[‘s] gonna do whatever he wants, and the song fire.”
