H.E.R., Chris Brown & Beyoncé Top Nominees For 2020 Soul Train Awards!

The list of nominees for the 2020 Soul Train ceremony has just been announced and some of our favorite entertainers are up to grab an award!

Singer H.E.R. snagged a total of eight nominations, making her the top nominee for the Soul Train awards. Megastar Chris Brown earned seven nods while Queen Beyoncé and rapper Young Thug received six nominations each.

Summer Walker, Chloe X Halle, and Usher follow with five each. Rapper YG with four; and Brandy and PJ Morton both earned three nods. The annual event which recognizes the best in soul, R&B, and hip-hop across 12 categories, will be hosted by Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold for the third year in a row!

As Billboard notes, the show which will be produced by Connie Orlando, BET’s EVP specials, music programming & music strategy, along with Jesse Collins, CEO of Jesse Collins Entertainment, and that company’s Jeannae Rouzan-Clay and Dionne Harmon — will simulcast on BET, BET Her, VH1 and MTV2 at 8 p.m. ET. A one-hour pre-show will air at 7 p.m. ET.
