Gunna took some time to address a few rumors about during a candid interview with @xxl. Since Gunna was released from jail a lot of fans have been questioning the relationship between him and Young Thug being that he’s free man and Thugger is still behind bars.

During the conversation with the news outlet, Gunna revealed that him and Thug’s relationship is still in a good place despite what people may think. “It’s the same. It’s love, always. Our relationship is our relationship.” The interviewer also asked him how does he feel about other rappers such as 21 Savage, Lil Baby and Lil Durk alluding to him being a snitch. “None of those rappers, they’re not on the case. They don’t know legally what’s going on.“ He did revealed that he talked to those rappers over the phone and they all have had a “peaceful” conversation.

He continued to open up about how things went with him and YSL case has misled a lot of people. “I definitely feel like everybody’s been misled. And like, you know, when you’re being misled, you got a choice to follow or make your own decisions. And that’s what is being shown right now. You’re being a follower or you’re being neutral to be like, “I don’t know what their business is or what they really got goin’ on.”

As we previously reported, Thug was arrested back in May of last year at his home in Buckhead, Atlanta. He was among 28 people indicted in Georgia on conspiracy to violate the state’s RICO act and street gang charges, according to jail records. Gunna was also hit with those charges but ended up taking a plea deal to get out of slammer and ever since he has been released the internet has portrayed him to be a snitch.

Even though Gunna shut down the rumors early on he still had a narrative surrounding him that he was a snitch. When he first was released from jail, Gunna released a statement to shut down the allegations.

“While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” the statement read.

Even his lawyer, Steve Shadow double downed on Gunna’s initial statement saying the rapper didn’t snitch.

“After reading Ms. Wicker’s outstanding, insightful article, I am obliged to say for the record one more time: Gunna has never been interviewed by or cooperated with law enforcement or prosecutors in the RICO case.”

Sadow continued, “Nor have his attorneys proffered information on his behalf. What was said at his Alford plea hearing was solely to resolve his own case. It cannot be used by the prosecution against Young Thug or any defendant.”

  1. I really believe that Gunna’s not a snitch, especially after goin through something almost as similar to his situation, people will be followers not even knowing the facts and be quick too call someone a snitch just because it sounds good rollin off there tongues not knowing it will get them killed. You gotta have paperwork on a person before you can just label them a snitch and you have to of seen it it can’t be just something you heard, that don’t fly, I’ve seen people in the penitentiary get killed over that snitch word , wake up world.
