Gucci Mane Signee Foogiano Reportedly On The Run After Burning Off Ankle Monitor
The latest news under the categories of “WTF” and “Only in 2020” reports that Gucci Mane signee Foogiano is reportedly on the run after burning off his ankle monitor. The 1017 Records artist, born Kwame Brown, has been on probation stemming from a 2015 burglary conviction, where he was charged with possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.
On December 14, after hearing from three witnesses, a judge gave Brown a $50,000 cash only bond with requirements that he remain in Georgia and wear an ankle monitor. After posting the cash bond, Foogiano was released, but abused the court’s trust after failing to charge his monitor later that night, after an official specifically reminded him to do so. After the monitor went dead, he was untraceable.

When he finally charged up and was back online, officials got an alert that the monitor was being tampered with and then a pin was last seen showing the monitor on the side of a highway in Barrow County. When officials arrived to the last location, they found the monitor with straps melted off and Brown in the dust. On Monday (Dec. 21), just a week after being granted, Brown’s bond was revoked. Additionally, warrants have since been taken out for his immediate arrest.
