Welp it looks like Grimes is taking a page out of Sophie Turner’s book. The Canadian singer-songwriter has recently filed a lawsuit against her billionaire ex-boyfriend, Elon Musk. The lawsuit revolves around the issue of parental rights and custody of their three children.

In her legal filing, Grimes is seeking court intervention to establish clear parental rules and guidelines for the custody of their children. The “Violence” artist, 35, shares son X AE A-XII, daughter Exa Dark Sideræl and son Techno Mechanicus with the Tesla founder.

In recent weeks, Grimes has publicly shared the problems she’s been having with Musk who now owns X (formally know a as Twitter.) last month, Grimes tweeted, “Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer,” Grimes tweeted on Sept. 7 before quickly deleting the post. To note, Musk, 52, is a father to at least 11 children with three different women, including two with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.

Despite family tensions, it seems like the women were able to resolve their issue. Grimes later shared a follow-up tweet that read, “Women are so often pitted against each other,” she wrote. “Speaking with Shivon, it’s very evident she’s an amazing human and we both just want what’s best for our kids.”

More On Grimes And Musk’s Relationship

The two began dating in 2018 and separated in March 2022. On September 29, Grimes filed the petition though Musk had not responded in court as of Tuesday.

The news of Grimes filing a lawsuit against her baby daddy comes just days after it was reported that actress Sophie Turner slapped her estranged hubby with one.

As we previously reported, Turner initiated legal action against her former partner, singer Joe Jonas, seeking the return of their two children to their “habitual residence” in England. The celebrity couple had recently announced their divorce after over four years of marriage, describing it as an amicable split. However, 27-year-old Turner’s lawyers filed a legal petition on, alleging the “wrongful detention” of their children in New York, as per a BBC report.

The two are set to go to trial at the beginning of next year over custody of their two young daughters, a Manhattan federal judge ruled this Tuesday.
