Judge Greg Mathis is confident that he’ll get his wife Linda back after she filed for Divorce back in August.

Despite their marriage troubles, Judge Mathis says he’s hopeful that they stick it out and make the relationship work. While speaking with TMZ, he also confirmed that he and Linda have been getting along better in recent weeks. The TV judge admits it took time to fix things with Linda. He’s been making an effort to stay home and spend time with her after being on the road so much.

“It’ll take a few more months for me to stay home. I haven’t left home since the time I got in trouble with her. I put off all my speaking engagements around the country, so, I’m home,” he shared.

As we previously reported, Linda Mathis listed the date of separation from her husband as July 17, and as with many celebrity divorce filings, Linda cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the longtime couple’s split.

Judge Mathis has made great progress since he last spoke with the news outlet in August. Back then, he promised to win Linda back after she filed for divorce after 39 years of marriage.

The judge was understandably upset about the separation and pointed out that he serves as a warning to other men who might be neglecting their wives.

He also denied rumors of infidelity, explaining that the split was mainly due to him not being home enough. That’s why he’s now focused on spending more time with Linda.
