Cardi B took to her Instagram earlier this Friday morning to share the sweet present her fellow collaborator Glorilla gifted her.
In a video shared with her 142M followers, Cardi explained that she was in the studio with the FNF rapper and was left speechless as she was surprised with a Van Cleef & Arpels earrings and a Patek Philippe watch! Cardi joked that no one ever surprises her with gifts like that but her husband Offset who also recently gifted her a super expensive Richard Mille watch for her 30th birthday.
Sharing her excitement, Cardi captioned her post, “Y’all look what @glorillapimp just gave me !!!!! I love her for fuvkin ever. I wanna cry but imma Gangsta!!!!
Last month, Cardi B and Glorilla teamed up on the song titled “Tomorrow 2” which has seen great success so far. On top of taking the music charts by storm, content creators have been using their hit track all over TikTok, with the song being used in over 125,000 videos on the social media platform.
Accroding to AfroTech, the single debuted at No. 9 on Billboard’s Hot 100 last week — marking GloRilla’s first top 10 record. In addition to this, “Tomorrow 2” secured a top three spot on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Glorilla who is quickly becoming everyone’s favorite new artist has been skyrocketing ever since she dropped her debut song, “F.N.F. (Let’s Go) back in April. Rapper Yo Gotti, who signed her to his CMG imprint back in July, said she’s had “one of the quickest rises that I’ve seen in my career, because she only dropped in late April and now she has the hottest cultural records in music,” he told Billboard. “She has a different sound and approach that’s needed in hip-hop right now.”

As for Cardi B, she just continues to make history. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and Atlantic Records confirmed the news on Tuesday (Oct. 11) with a sweet birthday tweet to the Grammy-winning rapper.
“Happy Birthday @iamcardib! Congrats on becoming the first female rapper to have TWO @RIAA certified 11x platinum singles with “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It,” the label tweeted.
In a follow-up tweet, the RIAA said, “What’s better than [one emoji] 11X Diamond single [eyes emoji]? TWO! Happy Birthday @iamcardib!”
As of right now, Cardi B single-handily has the most certified digital single units for any woman rapper in history, reports AllHipHop.
Now, when Cardi’s not in the studio, she’s still getting to the bag. Cardi B teamed up with Rebook to drop another collection, which will probably sell out in minutes…again!
