To memorialize the late actress Naya Rivera, former cast members of Glee have launched a holiday fundraiser for one of her favorite charities.

Former Glee cast members such as Kevin McHale, Matthew Morrison, Darren Criss, Jane Lynch, and others are launching a GoFundMe for the charity Alexandria House. Before her tragic passing, Naya Rivera fully supported the charity and said, “The people who reside and work there has been the biggest blessing and made such a huge positive impact on myself and my son.” In her spare time, Rivera and her son also volunteered to help women and children transition from the shelter to permanent housing as reported by PEOPLE.

So far, the cast members have raised over $24,000 within 12 hours with their own donations and promoted the charity on their social media pages. The campaign is also asking fans to donate to the charity or volunteer for the charity in Rivera’s memory.
“Everyone will always be remembered and loved by her entire family. Naya loved Christmas and we are pleased to know that her Christmas parties left a lasting impression on all of our lives. This fundraiser is an extension of Naya’s love for families, children, and holidays. To honor her in this manner is evidence that her love for others is endlessly alive. On behalf of Naya and her son Josey, the family would like to donate items from her Jojo & Izzy clothing line. We appreciate all who continue to shine Naya’s love and light.”

The cast also said the fundraiser is also replacing Rivera’s annual holiday celebration which she always called “Snixxmas” where she would ask her guests to bring a present to donate to a child in need.
