Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik Reportedly Split After He Denies ‘Striking’ Yolanda
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have reportedly put their long-term relationship to an end, one year after welcoming a daughter.

A source told People.com that the 26-year-old model and 28-year-old singer, “are not together right now, they are both good parents though. They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild.”
Gigi and Zayn’s long-term relationship started in 2015. “I just asked her [out]. It was pretty straight-up,” Zayn shared about how their romance began on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up. “A gentleman never tells the full details! But, yeah, we met and we spoke, and we went on a date.”
The reported break up comes shortly after the two recently celebrated their one year old daughter, Kai’s birthday. The birthday party was in September of 2021 and their family shared tons of happy moments from the party on social media.

It seems like the two hit off since the beginning just two months after they started dating Gigi appeared in Zayn’s music video “Pillowtalk” and things only went up from there. Then they started to be seen everywhere together. They were on Vogue magazine in 2016 and then made the Met Gala red carpet debut weeks later.
It has been reported that the two has had their fare shares of ups and downs and have taken a few breaks during their relationship. But fans really thought after having a baby all of the magic would come back. When the baby was born they both made a post on social media touching Kai’s hand and Zayn wrote a heartfelt message.
“Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful,” Zayn wrote. “To try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love i feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x.”
